WHAT WE DID

it was only 9 something at night, so we went round Kampar to look for hotels. Could u believe that? there WERE NO ROOMS left. we were so shocked, and summore, Kampar is quite an ULU place, there werent many cars on the road although it was only 9 something(compared to Melaka). Too tired to wait, we went up to GOPENG to search for hotels. To our surprise, there were NO HOTELS there. WHAT??we drove all the way up and there were not any hotels there? What place is this?

Gopeng is not near from Kampar u noe. 29km to be exact. So we were quite disappointed. Anyway, we drove back to Kampar, and logged on to the net. Hah!! There are hotels in Tapah! lets go! so we were quite excited. drove another 16 km down to Tapah. There WERE some hotels there. So dad went in and asked.

Why? Its already 12++ at night!! We are exhausted!! So dad was very frustrated. We decided to drive all the way to Ipoh. It will be about an hour's drive on the highway. We were left with no choices. Maybe there will be rooms in Bidor. But its also a small place, maybe the hotels are full also. we dare not drive down to Bidor to be told ' there are no rooms left'. So we drove to Ipoh. Dad was very tired already, he sped all the way to Ipoh, driving up to 130 km/h.

We reached Ipoh at 1++ in the morning. the first hotel we saw was Heritage Hotel. Without further hesitation, we drove into the hotel. There are rooms. SEE? A big city is incomparable(is there a word like this?) to a small town. Heritage Hotel is the best!! The rooms are big, but the food is just ok.
