to learn the Godly way @ 4/01/2011 01:59:00 AM

What do I do now?

Often times when we are faced with problems we find ourselves struggling for solutions. The easiest way is to ask for opinions and then list out the pros and cons. Then you get your answer. That's the way we people are used to, that we rely so much on it.

What if you were alone and there's no one there to help? And maybe the suggestions given are irrelevant? Then how?

" Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed."
Proverbs 16:3

Isn't this the easier way out?

I find myself drifting away everyday, and yet I struggle to hold on. The relationship that took sweat and tears to build can be easily clouded by worldly demands and illusions. I find myself at peace when I realize that there's nothing no one can do to snatch us away from God. The comforting words of God gave me hope to never give up, and on top of that, to never take things for granted.

back to my question: What to do?

If one day you find that your belongings went missing suddenly, and there's no one you can question and put the blame on to, because obviously, who will admit that they did take your stuffs? What will you do?

Looking it from the Christian perspective : Give whatever they want with a cheerful heart. Always go the extra mile and make sure they get more than what they asked for.

You might think that I'm out of my mind, but that's what God wants us to do. Because at the end of the day, nothing belongs to you. It all comes from God, and it is because of His grace that you are able to enjoy the satisfaction of owning it. Therefore, it taught me not to take things too heavily, and not to view things in a materialistic way. After all, it will all go back to God. :)

The Godly path is narrow and windy. It is hard and tough, that not many make it. However, there is a promise at the end of the road that says : Come and enjoy all eternity with me, my good and faithful servant. Will you not want that?

All in all, I am still learning. Each day is a new day, and I pray that I get to see more of you, Jesus, everyday. :)

With love,
Hannah :)
